Guilderville finished in fourth place with 277 points in qualifiers last weekend.

Spreading her wings in the 200 Individual Medley, Guilderville’s Kasey Keaney finished sixth with a time of 2:16.53 in last weekend’s sectional qualifiers at Niskayuna High School. Keaney also competed in the 100-meter backstroke and finished fifth with a time of 1:08.77. She is also on the 200-yard medley relay team, which qualified for states after finishing fourth with a time of 1:50.88.

Ready to spring into the water, Guilderville’s Stephanie Erickson jumps off the starting block in the 200-yard freestyle sectional in last weekend’s qualifiers. Erickson finished in 11th place with a time of 1:59.71. She finished seventh in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:22.02. Erickson is part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that qualified for states and finished second in the sectional finals with a time of 3:41.04. Guilderville finished in fourth place with 277 points.

Calm before the storm: Guilderville’s Caroline Conforti is poised to compete in the 200-yard medley relay.  Conforti also competed in the 200-yard individual medley, finishing second with a time of 2:12.03, which qualified her for states. She qualified, too, in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing third with a time of 57.17. Conforti is a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard relay teams. Guilderville will compete for state championship Nov. 20 and 21 at Ithaca College in Ithaca.
