Big Truck Day gives kids a chance to revel in the breath-taking practicality of vehicles that keep our society on the move.

When he dipped the ball in, it came out frozen. Behind the crowd is a truck used to transport liquid nitrogen — one of many on display Saturday for Big Truck Day.

Little kid, big truck: On Saturday morning, a bright yellow cement mixer beckons a curious kid during Big Truck Day, held at Guilderland High School to help raise funds for the Class of 2016. A racecar, fire apparatus, dump truck, armored patrol car, emergency vehicles, and a school bus were also on display.
