Curtis Cox, Daniel McNally, and Eric Batchelder were all promoted within the Guilderland Police Department on Tuesday night at a town board meeting.  Cox is a 31-year member of the force, and has worked in traffic safety, training, the K9 Unit, on the Stop DWI committee, and is currently in charge of criminal investigations. He is also a 39-year member of the Guilderland Fire Department. His salary of  $100,337 annually remains the same.  McNally started as a police paramedic in 1988, and has been in charge of patrol, scheduling, and overtime. He currently manages the emergency services department. His new salary is $97,402 annually. Batchelder has been in charge of case management and community service, and, according to Chief Carol Lawlor, has “more nicknames than anyone she knows.” She ushered in his new nickname, “LT” on Tuesday. Batchelder’s new salary is $92,926.

Captain Daniel McNally, a 28-year member of the Guilderland Police Department, is sworn into his new position on Tuesday by Supervisor Kenneth Runion, as his wife and son hold a Bible.

Lieutenant Eric Batchelder, a member of the Guilderland Police Department since 2001, is sworn in on Tuesday, with his wife and two children in support.
