Carman Ridge in the works: David Fusco, owner of Carman Plaza, is constructing an apartment building just to the north of the plaza on Carman Road at the intersection with Old State Road in western Guilderland. Called Carman Ridge Apartments, the two-story, 9,595-square-foot building will have 14 units. In another phase of the project, Fusco hopes to build 16 apartments in two two-storey buildings on the other end of the plaza; that phase has not yet received final approval.
