Questions for God

RENSSELAERVILLE — If you could ask God a question, what would it be?

On Saturday, Jan. 7, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, at Conkling Hall in Rensselaerville, clergy from different faith traditions will answer questions about God, theology, religion, the Bible, spirituality, and related topics.

Confirmed panelists so far are: Rev. Alexandra Lusak, moderator, of Rensselaerville Presbyterian Church; Imam Djafer Sebkhaoui from the Al-Hidaya Islamic Center, Latham; and Rabbi Norman Mendel, Rabbi Emeritus, Congregation Beth David, San Luis Obispo, California. Rensselaerville Presbyterian Church is the sponsor.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a potluck supper followed by answers to audience questions from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a dish to share. Questions may be sent in advance to .

This will be an informal evening open to everyone in the community no matter whether one is a person of faith, has no faith, or is questioning faith.
