Connecticut man charged with rape of victim under 15

Christopher L. Green

GUILDERLAND — Acting on a complaint they received early Thursday morning, Guilderland Police charged a 31-year-old Connecticut man with two felonies — second-degree rape and second-degree criminal sex act where the actor is over 17 and the victim is under 15.

Christopher L. Green, of Center Street in Hartford, was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, according to a release from the Guilderland Police.

The incident occurred at the Days Inn at 1230 Western Ave. in Guilderland, the release says.

Because of the victim’s age and nature of the case and since the investigation is ongoing, police would release no further information on Thursday.

Green was scheduled to be arraigned in Guilderland Town Court Thursday night.
