It was our pleasure to help veterans’ smiles
To the Editor:
Drs. Fass and Edwards are very happy to announce that our first “Veterans Day Smile Program” was a success! As we have announced in the last few editions of The Enterprise, we opened the doors of our dental office on Thursday, Nov. 17, to area veterans, and provided single-problem dental treatment at no charge.
During the course of the day, we delivered over $2,400 worth of quality dental care to those veterans who sought treatment, and it was indeed our honor and pleasure to do this as a way of saying “Thanks for serving our country” to those veterans who needed our care.
We want to thank The Altamont Enterprise for its support, and the local American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts for their help in publicizing this event. We also owe a sincere debt of gratitude to our staff, as our front desk — dental assistant — dental hygiene team volunteered their time to work along with the doctors in providing outstanding care.
We look forward to having similar programs in future years as we continue to salute the fine men and women who have served our country.
