GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce is moving to “the hub of Guilderland,” says a release from the organization.

Moving the chamber to a central location, with visibility from Western Avenue, was a top priority for Kathy Burbank when she became executive director in 2007, the release says.

“With an abundance of parking, great restaurants, superb shops, and a convenient location,” the release says, “this move will enhance member communication with the organization.”

The 36-year-old organization will move to its new location at Star Plaza, 2050 Western Ave., Guilderland, suite 109, over the Thanksgiving holiday.  It will close its offices on Nov. 26 and reopen on Monday, Dec.1.  The phone number, 456-6611, will remain the same and information is available on the website, www.guilderlandchamber.com.

“Star Plaza management, the Ermides family, have been instrumental in helping us move to this location,” Burbank said in the release.  “We could not have moved here without their assistance.”
