Scouts collect 2,855 items. Generosity goes a long way

To the Editor:

The Boy Scouts of Troop 50 would like to thank the community for its generous donations to the St. Madeleine Sophie Food Pantry.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, the troop collected and sorted 2,855 items. The donations will benefit those in need around the Capital Region just before the holidays.

Your outstanding support made this year’s St. Madeleine Sophie Food Drive a huge success. Thank you for helping us make a difference and know that your generosity goes a long way.
