Come to our Christmas party and help Gold Star Families build a monument
To the Editor:
On Dec. 10, at the Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7062, located at 11 Mill St. in Altamont, the World War II Veterans Home Front Breakfast Club is hosting a Christmas party fundraiser, starting at 1 p.m.
There is a $10 donation for each person and we also are asking for an unwrapped new toy for the Sheriff’s Hilltown Kids’ Christmas. There will be raffles, music, and food. If you would like to bring something for the table, it would be deeply appreciated.
All proceeds will benefit the Gold Star Families Monument being built in Lafayette Park across from the capitol in Albany.
We invite you to come out meet our amazing World War II, Korean, Vietnam, Iraq, and all other veterans. Meet new friends and help us help the Gold Star Families raise the funds they need to build their beautiful monument. And help us collect toys for the Hilltown dids so that Santa can make them smile on Christmas morning.
Please call (518) 470-7310 if you have any questions.
