GOP won respect of residents for a clean and positive campaign
To the Editor:
As many of your readers may recall, I wrote a letter in June stating that selecting the right person for office transcends any party affiliation. That was the reason I chose to leave the Democratic Committee and actively work on Brian Forte's campaign for town supervisor.
Originally, I had planned to help only Brian, but soon after I got to know Lee Carman and Michele Coons, I knew I wanted to support them as well. I was also extremely impressed with their campaign manager, Doug Breakell.
What a joy and a privilege it was for me to work with such wonderful people.
Even though all three candidates may not have won the election, in my opinion they won something even more important: the respect and admiration of many residents for the clean and positive campaign they conducted.
