To the Editor:

It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying a gorgeous fall day at the Harvest Fest at Switzkill Farm a few weeks back. For many, it was the first time they had been to this wonderful venue and people were so enthusiastic that this area is now available to the public.

If you are looking for a reason to make a return visit, I invite you to come to a wonderful program being offered free of charge this Saturday by Rich Ronconi called “The Honeybee and Me.”

Whether you are interested in becoming a beekeeper or just want to learn more about the importance of the honeybee to our agriculture and the challenges that it faces, this program is for you. From 10:30 a.m. to noon, Rich will share his expertise working with bees for many years. Hope to see you there!
