We need a strong family-oriented farmer on the Knox town board

To the Editor:

Recently the town of Knox has been in an uproar over the upcoming council member election. Ken Saddlemire has been a lifelong resident of Knox — someone who shows his determination and work ethic daily.

Ken, like myself and my parents before me, has been raised on and continues to run a working dairy farm. Day in and day out, he commits to his animals and family, not to mention his town as a firefighter for 31 years.

We need a strong family-oriented farmer on the board. Farmers are the backbone of America. Let Ken be the backbone of Knox. Write in Ken Saddlemire in column 10 of your ballot.
