It’s time for change in Knox

To the Editor:

I have known Ken Saddlemire his whole life and I find him to be a hardworking, independent-minded individual. He will be an excellent addition to the town board and will listen and work together to maintain the rural character of Knox, something everyone seems to agree upon.

Some people have suggested that, since the supervisor, Vasilios Lefkaditis, nominated Ken, he must be in his "pocket." So, according to that way of thinking, Dan Hanley must be in Sandy Gordon's and the Democratic machine's "pocket" with the same old, tired way of thinking that we've had for the last 40 years!

Change is never easy but perhaps it's time!
