Vas is a man with a plan for Knox

To the Editor:

As a concerned citizen, I have been attending Knox planning and town board meetings for several years.  I have watched both boards bungle through issue after issue.

I have witnessed them act favorably towards their “friends” and less favorably or completely ignore others.  In the past several decades, I have watched our town lose business after business and more and more residential homes become vacant.

With an election coming up in November, it's clear to me that the incumbents simply don't have a plan.  Unless of course you think no plan is a plan — I don't.

Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know Vas Lefkaditis and I'm happy to support him in his bid to become Knox town supervisor.  At the recent Wyatt Spencer Memorial golf outing, I spoke to Vas in great detail about what he plans to do for the town of Knox and I have to say: This is a man with a plan!

There was so much discussed that I couldn't possibly list it all in a short letter to the editor but he went into great detail about how he's going to reduce taxes, support local businesses, eliminate favoritism, communicate and support our fire department and our seniors, just to name a few.

I'll tell you one thing: He's not short on ideas and has a grand vision for our town.  It's a vision I would like to see carried out and I'll be doing my part on Nov. 3 by voting for Vas Lefkaditis.  I encourage others to do the same.
