Ken wants what is best for Knox, and the choice for our townspeople was taken away

To the Editor:

My name is Tegan Hoffman; I am 12 years old and I live in Knox. I have known Ken Saddlemire my whole life. He is a great man who is kind, genuine, and honest.

Ken has taken me under his wing and is teaching me everything about farming. On his busiest days; Ken will stop and pick me up to ride in his tractor to go out and work the fields.

Ken is very easy to talk to. He always listens to me with patience, and I know he will do the same for the people in our town.

Thanks to people like Ken Saddlemire, I am able to have a small farm. Even though I have a dad, Ken is like a father figure to me.

It is upsetting to me that someone would file a lawsuit rather than talking it out at a board meeting. Why was this done to Ken? He is not hurting anyone. He is trying to help people.

We are taught in school to try to work through our problems and I think the grown-ups need to do the same. People on the town board are acting like children.

Ken wants what is best for our town, and the choice for our townspeople was taken away.

Ken knows what hard work is every single day. If I were old enough to vote, nothing else would come to my mind but to vote for Ken Saddlemire!

Better things will keep happening in our town if he is on the board — like the Summer Fest, Halloween parties, Fall Into Knox festival and more. You will see growth and change. He will take care of his town, like he takes care of his cows.

Please vote for Ken Saddlemire. To vote for Ken, you will need to write his name down; give him a chance!

Thank you for taking the time to read my message.
