BETHLEHEM —  Joseph Giacone of Delmar is a member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute football team. Giacone, a senior, has helped the Engineers to a strong start through the first two weeks of the season, including a win at Norwich University the first week.

A Bethlehem Central High School graduate, Giacone is a wide receiver for RPI. He is 6 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 205 pounds.

RPI, which is coached by fourth-year head coach Ralph Isernia, is coming off a 9-2 season in which it won a share of the Liberty League championship and captured the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl.
