How can Centi represent all?

What makes Rosemary Centi think she can represent all Guilderland residents when she quit her job as clerk rather than treat people equally?

Guilderland

Editor’s note: Rosemary Centi was Guilderland’s town clerk in 2011 when New York legalized same-sex marriage. Centi had also served for a decade as a marriage officer, an unpaid post, from which she resigned after the law passed, citing her Catholic beliefs. She retired as clerk at the end of her term in 2013. She is now running for a seat on the Guilderland Town Board.
