An Albany 16-year-old was charged on Friday with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, for a July incident at the Bethlehem Public Library.

Eliezer M. Wildman, while at the library, “had inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of eleven,” according to a release from the Bethlehem Police Department. Wildman was also charged with forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.

The Albany and Colonie police departments and the Capital Region Crime Analysis Center helped Bethlehem Police with the investigation.

Wildman was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court by Judge Andrew Kirby, and released on $10,000 bond, and to the supervision of Albany County Probation. He is scheduled to reappear in Bethlehem Town Court on Oct. 2.
