Be selective with what you eat

To the Editor:

Have you you ever had a mouth-watering burger from McDonald’s?  Did you ever get sick while eating a burger?  Sure, they're tasty but what you really don’t know (besides that it’s really delicious) is that the burgers have chemicals in them that makes it delicious but make you sick.

Yes, chemicals. So why aren’t people avoiding fast-food burgers?  When you look at a burger or any kind of fast food, you see the the soft bun on top of the meat, tomatoes, and other ingredients that I don’t like. The things you don't see are now in your stomach.

To tell you the truth, I have eaten these burgers when I was traveling. I can only tell you that it was a delicious.

It wasn’t me that got sick; it was my brother. He didn’t like it at all.

Anyway, fast food isn’t really good for you. If you eat too much of these burgers, you might become obese.

According to the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute, more than 35 percent of adults in the United States are obese, more than 32 percent are overweight, and nearly 32 percent of kids and adolescents are obese.

It's fine to eat a burger once a month but some people are addicted to these evil but delicious burgers.

It’s not just fast-food burgers that cause problems; so do shakes. Let’s examine the sugar content. Shakes contains natural sugar and corn syrup — high fructose corn syrup. All of this adds up to a super sweet treat — and 73 grams of sugar. All that sugar contributes a significant amount of calories.

These fast foods are cheaper now so be careful of how much fast food you consume.  In my opinion, there is no such thing as “ bad food” for you; you just need to be selective in what you eat.
