The third annual Berne Summerfest is just a few warm weeks away.  This year, the Berne Town Park will be sporting a brand new set of horseshoe courts, and Summerfest will be hosting its first ever Horseshoe Tournament.

Come and play, or just watch — we’ll have picnic tables for spectators, and a set of kid-sized horseshoes for future team members to practice with in the children’s area. 

Two members constitute a team with a limit of 30 teams; double elimination and house rules will apply. The entry fee is $20 if received by Aug. 17; it’s $25 day of.  Sign-in and registration start at noon and the tournament will begin promptly at 1 p.m.  First- and second-place cash prizes will be awarded.
