Join us for an old-time strawberry social

To the Editor:

Altamont Community Tradition will be hosting its annual strawberry social on Tuesday, June 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Orsini Park.

Residents are invited to help us kick off the summer and celebrate the end of the school year by attending this free event for an evening of old-time family fun, including sac races, a water-balloon toss, and balloon-tying by Macintosh the clown.

The Altamont Fire Department will also be showing its 1921 Brockway fire truck, providing a shining glimpse of a piece of our village history.  Special thanks go out in advance to our sponsors of this event: Home Front Café, Altamont Orchards, and Stewart’s shops.
