Schanz has the courage to stand up for us
To the Editor:
When considering a candidate for Berne-Knox-Westerlo Board of Education, we would highly recommend Sue Kendall Schanz.
The Board of Education needs a person who is concerned for us all and has the courage to ask questions and stand up for us.
As former neighbors and long-time friends of Sue Kendall Schanz, we would like to take this opportunity to state what a community-minded, family-oriented, and all-around good human being she is. Sue has farmed, owned local businesses, and been involved in everything from keeping score for the Little League to helping other local businesses.
Sue raised her family here and, with their next generation being raised locally, has a vested interest in the district. Based on her ability to run the farm and the greenhouse and being a taxpayer, she understands economics on many levels. She is deeply interested in both our community and our kids. Her integrity is undeniable, her character strong, and she has always been a great team player.
We feel very confident she is an excellent candidate for the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Board of Education and, as members of the BKW community, give Sue Kendall Schanz our full support. We hope others will too.
