To the Editor:

Garage Sale Day is fast approaching and the Altamont Free Library will once again participate.  We will not only have our annual book sale, but we will also have a garage sale as well.

For the book sale, we will be happy to take donations of gently used books (hardcover or paperback), children’s books, DVDs, CDs, and videos.  We cannot accept encyclopedias, textbooks, and magazines or damaged books.

For the garage sale, we will take used household items in good condition.  Clean off those bookshelves and gather those items you no longer use around the house and bring them to the library and we’ll recycle them for you to grateful shoppers.

You may drop off books and other items at the library beginning Wednesday, May 29, through Friday, May 1, at 5 p.m.  Do come back on Saturday, May 2, to find a new treasure for yourself.  We thank you in advance for your donations and look forward to great weather.
