Silver project was reward-ing

To the Editor:

This past summer, I worked on my Silver project, which is the highest award a middle-school Girl Scout can receive.

For my project, I raised awareness for proper nutrition and for growing your own vegetables through sack gardens.

Working with the Hilltown Community Resource Center, I gave demonstrations of how to make sack gardens and let the people take the gardens home, and I also handed out brochures. I found my Silver project to be very rewarding
