Honor Earth Day by cleaning village parks

To the Editor:

Altamont Community Tradition will sponsor its annual Green and Clean on Saturday, April 25. We invite residents to join us, starting at 9 a.m. in Orsini Park.

We will work from approximately 9 a.m. to noon under the direction of the village gardeners, to spruce up our parks. Bring your rakes, work gloves, and wheelbarrows, and we will find a job for you.

In honor of Earth Day, come volunteer for the entire morning, or as long as you are available, to make our village beautiful. Enjoy time spent with your neighbors, and make a difference in your community.
