Girl Scouting at Home, amidst a pandemic
Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York is continuing its mission to serve girls in the midst of coronavirus restrictions by going virtual with its Girl Scouting at Home program, which recognizes that Girl Scouts may feel disconnected.
Girl Scouting at Home features virtual badge activities, programs, and resources for girls and their families to engage in from home. The page is updated each day with new badge opportunities and projects. All programs and activities are available to anyone interested. Girl Scout membership is not necessary.
Girl Scouting at Home activities range from STEM (science technology, engineering, math) projects to making friendship bracelets to earning badges by exploring family history. Tutorials, tips, and instructions are led by Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York staff and volunteers as they guide girls through the at-home programs and lay out necessary materials.
Those wishing to participate in the digital programming should check the GSNENY Facebook page or visit https://www.girlscoutsneny.org/virtualprograms.
