GUILDERLAND — A man was arrested on Friday for accosting a boy in a bathroom at Dave and Buster’s in Crossgates Mall.

At 2:57 p.m. on March 20, police responded to a report that Nathan D. Harrington, 38, had approached an 11-year-old boy in front of a urinal in the bathroom, and put his arms around him, attempting to touch his penis, according to a press release from the Guilderland Police Department.

The boy said he had begun screaming and kicking Harrington, who then left the area, according to the release. He described Harrington, who lives in Bennington, Vermont, and is currently employed at Tullio Hair Studio in the mall.

Harrington was seen back at Dave and Buster’s a short time after the incident by an alert employee who had assisted police earlier, said the release.

A spokeswoman from the Dave and Buster’s headquarters in Texas said she would send a statement; it did not arrive before press time.

He was charged with forcible touching, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.

Harrington was processed and is due back in Guilderland Town Court on April 2.

Anyone with similar contact with Harrington is asked to call the Guilderland Police Department at 356-1501.
