Events unfolded this way, according to a release from the Guilderland Police Department: On Thursday, March 15, around 8 p.m., two black males and one white male walked into Frank Adams Jewelers, and escorted two female employees to the back room.
One of the men, described as black, in his mid-20s, wearing a blue Yankees hat, a blue jacket, jeans, and dark shoes, displayed a black pistol.
A third female employee was in the restroom when the men entered the store; she locked the bathroom door and called 9-1-1.
The white male was described as roughly six feet tall, in his mid-20s, with a scruffy beard, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a light shirt underneath, jeans, and a light blue baseball hat with a sticker on the brim.

While the two female employees were tied up, and the third was in the bathroom, the men broke into a display case and stole an unknown number of watches an inventory of the stolen merchandise is in progress.
After the suspects left the store, they were observed walking toward the back of the plaza, and reports suggest they may have entered a dark-colored vehicle possibly a Chevy Impala or a Honda.
A few minutes after the robbery, an independent contractor, who had been working at Frank Adams, returned to the store, where he found the employees tied up, and freed them; none of the employees were injured.
The Guilderland Police Department assisted by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, the University of Albany Police Department, the Albany Police Department, and the State Police Aviation Unit conducted a search of the area, but did not locate the suspects.
Staff at the store said they were not allowed to talk about the robbery, and the company’s president did not respond to inquiries.
