Childs charged with trespass

NEW SCOTLAND — William Z. Childs, 20, of Voorheesville, was arrested on March 19 for second-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, according to a release from the New York State Police.

Troopers were dispatched to a 9-1-1 domestic dispute call at 68 Miller Rd. in New Scotland, the release said, and investigation showed Childs entered the home after being told several times to stay off the property and he argued with the occupants.

Childs was processed without incident and arraigned in New Scotland Town Court. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court today, March 23.
