The highways go both ways! We are going out to the barn and start throwing the shit
To the Editor:
Who are the “pitchfork” people?
Two-thirds of the population are long outstanding citizens of the town of Knox. For too long we have not made our voices heard. So, now with the changes made for our country, we are also taking a stand for change. We are tired of our elected officials pussyfooting around.
I don't know who you people are, where you came from, how you selected our little town to make it your agenda to take over our way of living.
We have people on our various boards that even haven’t lived here for two years. Yes, we have had our “pitchfork” people apply for these positions, but have failed to make the cut. No need for further explanation.
So, enough is enough. We are going out to the barn and start throwing the shit. The “pitchfork” people made this town. We volunteer for our fire company, 4-H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Little League, church, and donating our goods to raise money for our community needs.
We don’t have the best interest of our town? How dare you!
Yes, we need to take action, and the “pitchfork” people are making it happen. So, in a way I am glad you do-givers moved to our community. It made us raise our “pitchforks” and charge!
And if you don’t like it, the highways go both ways!
