Troopers say woman fought boyfriend, kicked his car
NEW SCOTLAND — Erin Mchugh, 39, of Feura Bush, was arrested for first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, on Feb. 20.
Troopers were dispatched by Albany County 9-1-1 for a reported domestic dispute at 1562 Indian Fields Rd. in New Scotland, according to a press release from the New York State Police, and investigation revealed that Mchugh got into a physical fight with her boyfriend and violated an order of protection.
Mchugh then resisted arrest, the release said, and kicked her boyfriend’s car, damaging the front passenger-side quarter panel. Mchugh was processed and arraigned in New Scotland Town Court, and the judge remanded her to the Albany County’s jail on $5,000 bail and scheduled her next court appearance for Feb. 23.
