To the Editor 

We want to take a moment to publicly thank our community's guardian angels, the Helderberg Ambulance Squad.  You have volunteered for a job that is all work and no pay, and provide a priceless service. Special thanks to Dave Tiffany and Gerry Cross for transporting my husband to St Peter's. 

Your competence and compassion are truly remarkable.  You are an inspiration to us all and are truly "Hilltown"!

We would be remiss if we did not also thank the community at large for its prayers and support and Jeff Ward, George Rapoli, Alan Rogers, our children, Pat, Amy, and Elaine, and my brothers and caring friends for being there in our time of need.

We are blessed to have all of you in our lives. We are reminded once again how fortunate we are to live in such a special place.
