Food pantry is grateful for gifts

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Guilderland Food Pantry, I would like to thank the very kind and generous people who provided holiday gifts for our clients:  Flora Greaves and her staff at Celtic Tours; Ed Visker and the members of Christ the King Church; Cindy Schultz and the members of Hamilton Union Church; Bob Gardam and the members of St. Boniface Church; Connie Stott and the members of McKownville Methodist Church; and the employees of The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

Most of these people have been participating for many years and we can’t thank them enough!

Before I close, I would also like to thank the two people who helped me coordinate this project: fellow volunteers Karen Miller and Sue Hennessy, who is also our director, along with her husband, Mark Hopper.
