Town Justice Margaret Adkins has served New Scotland for over 12 years. But now, with the pressures of being an educator increasing, she has announced her resignation in November. Looking back, Adkins says she can take much away from those on both sides of the bench.

A continuation of a long-running tradition stemming from the now defunct Plum Fest, the festival still tries to connect back to history and heritage of the area.

All class sizes in kindergarten through fifth grade were capped at 27 students.

Business owners Gary Guyette and P. J. Hognestad want to expand or start up agriculture and outdoors supply businesses along Route 308.
