Concert series

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m., the library will present the Not so Quiet Concert Series – Long Time Courting. This Boston-based band is an all-women group who offer a blend of neo-traditional Irish, Scottish and American music.  Tickets are available at the door. Cemetery tour

On Friday, Oct. 25, at dusk, about 6 p.m., we will have a haurnted historical cemetery tour. Bring a sweater and flashlight for a night full of lore.  Your guide, Wes Laraway has many tales in store.  Light refreshments to follow.  Tickets are $8 each available at the library or from a library board member.

Haunted library

On Saturday, Oct. 26 at 10 p.m., get ready to have the pants scared off you again as the library presents their second annual Haunted Library.  Tickets are $3 per person or $5 per family.  There will be cider and donuts, too!  Please note that the Haunted Library is scary and is not appropriate for young children. 
The library is closed on this day in anticipation of our haunted library event.

Tai Chi combines agile steps, joint save exercise and mental strength to improve mobility.  There is a $10 cost for the session payable to the instructor at the first meeting.  Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing.  Registration is required.

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m., the book group will discuss Faces of the Gone by Brad Parks. This book won the Shamus Award for Best First Novel and the Nero Award for Best American Mystery and is the first book to receive both awards.  Books are available at the circulation desk.  No registration is required.
