As CO2 is rising rapidly today, which is predicted to be like putting our climate on a “hot plate”, exploring these times for him is like “Looking Back to Our Future”.

On Aug. 11 and 12 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., the Middleburgh Library’s summer program Fizz, Boom, Read will present “Mysterious Shadow Puppets with Morgan Kelly”. In this class, we will learn about the history of this art form and also design and build our very own shadow puppets. Students will put together a short puppet presentation to share with family and friends the final day. This is a multi-day program. This hands-on program will be held at the Dr. Best House and Medical Exhibit and will include a short tour of the good doctor's strange and unique medical equipment from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
