Father Peter Young

Father Young “spawned a movement,” The Enterprise editorialized in 2014, that eventually treated more than 18,000 people each day at 121 not-for-profit addiction treatment and rehabilitation programs across New York State.

“We actually started as more of a holistic health practice 35 years ago,” said Father Peter Young this week. “We’re sort of trying to go back to our roots now.”

GUILDERLAND — Father Peter Young will testify in front of a grand jury, in Schenectady, on April 28, regarding the alleged misappropriation of grant funds in his organization.

In his lifetime, Father Peter Young has taken groups that are reviled and found ways to bless them. To curtail his work because of a paperwork error would be wrong.
