On Tuesday, April 21, the Guilderland softball squad traveled to Chatham for a non-league game to take on the Panthers. It was a tight matchup all game long but the Panthers walked it off with bases loaded and the Dutch fell 3-2.

On Friday, April 17, the Guilderland Flag football team hosted Albany on a sunny day at Guilderland High School. The young Dutch squad couldn’t break through Albany’s defense as they fell 33-to-6.

On Tuesday, April 14, the Voorheesville softball team hosted Lansingburgh in a Colonial Council matchup on the diamond at Clayton A. Bouton. The Blackbirds battled back from an early deficit then rallied to win 3-1 when the game got called in due to a thunderstorm.

On Sunday, April 12, the Guilderland outdoor track team held its annual Frigid Cup invitational at Guilderland High School. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams took home the titles with the boys scoring 161 points and the girls scoring 221 points.

On Saturday, April 11, the Guilderland baseball team hit the diamond at Dutchmen Field as they hosted a non-league game against Troy. The Dutch fell behind early but the bats woke up to take the lead and held on to win 10 to 8.
