The Enterprise opinion pages are an open forum for our community. We encourage readers to express their thoughts about issues that appear in the newspaper or online or that affect the community. Every now and again, Earth is graced with an extraordinary person — one who makes such a huge positive impact upon the world as to leave an indelible mark of goodness, and an aching void of sadness in the wake of his departure from this life.
The next Knox Town Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m. I have requested that the subject of allowing Hitmans towing business to continue to operate on Route 146 be discussed at the meeting.
As we have done every February for the past 25 years, the Altamont Reformed Church will participate in the Church World Service “Blankets +” program to raise money for projects in many parts of the world that help people recover from disasters such as Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
