Passing the crown, Little Miss Emma Isdell, 5, from Scotia is crowned by the outgoing Little Miss, Abby Leszczynski, during Tuesday's pageant the opening day of the Altamont Fair.

Abbey Naumowicz, 20, of Glenville was crowned Miss Altamont Fair and will reign all year. Winners in the other age categories are demonstrating their interests: Young Miss Lauren Pestuglicci, 10, of Colonie, tap dances; Junior Miss Becca McTugue, 13, of Niskayuna, cheers for the Pirate All-Starts; and Caitlyn Miller, 11, of Altamont, plays Guilderland Youth Lacrosse.
