These local students have recently distinguished themselves:

— Rachel Glock of Guilderland was recognized at the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy as the recipient of the RiteAid/James K. Harman Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to deserving students with academic promise who are pursuing careers in community pharmacy practice;

— Daniel H. Lonky of Schenectady took part in an off-campus internship this summer through the State University of New York Oswego’s Experience-Based Education program.
