GUILDERLAND — Alumni and alumnae will celebrate the 40th reunion of Guilderland’s Class of 1975 on Sept. 26.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the event will be held at the Ciderhouse Restaurant inside the Orchard Creek Golf Club on Dunnsville Road just outside of Altamont.

BERNE — Jack McEneny's passion for history and his gift for storytelling are well known. He's had the role of county historian and written a history book on Albany, which was republished in 2006.  Jack knows a thing or two when it comes to the stories of our past.

VOORHEESVILLE — The First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville at 68 Maple Ave. will hold a Vacation Bible Camp called “Beach Party.”

The camp will run from Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, meeting from 9 a.m. to noon each day.  Children ages 4 years old through fourth grade are eligible to attend.

Organizers of the Fourth Annual Summer Solstice Festival are expecting a record turnout on June 20, from noon to 4 p.m., on the Albany County Helderberg Hudson Rail Trail in Bethlehem and Voorheesville.

GUILDERLAND — In order to continue our strong programs — in 2014, we facilitated the spay and neuter of 755 cats and 154 dogs — we need the support of our community.
