Candlelight vigil to honor Kenneth White on anniversary of his death

To the Editor:

It doesn’t seem possible, but it has been almost a year since the senseless, preventable murder of our little angel, Kenneth White.

Please join us on the anniversary of this tragedy, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m., at his memorial site, on Thacher Park Road for a candlelight vigil.

We will have the support of the sheriff’s office, to manage traffic and parking. We will have candles available for all, and are honored that our good friend, Reverend Richard Brumley, from the American Legion Riders, will be officiating.

If you are unable to attend, Kenneth’s Army is asking that you burn a candle for him at home, and send us your pictures, to Kenneth’s Army Champions for Children on Facebook. In addition, we are asking that you tie a blue ribbon on your mailbox, from Dec. 18, the day he was killed, through Dec. 27, the day he was buried, in memory of our sweet little boy.

And a little child shall lead them. Blessings to you all!
