Altamont Fair is a treasure

Before this year’s Altamont Fair becomes a distant memory, I would like to say thank you to Amy Anderson, the manager, and all the wonderful staff that made this fair great.

As a first year vendor, I had a wonderful time. Yes, there are always little issues that pop up: mechanical, personnel, and even those attendees that don't know when to stop drinking, but what a wonderful job they did in taking care of everything as quickly as possible.

I hope the residents in this area know what a treasure this fair is.  Many other fairs have closed or are dying.  This fair was alive with great entertainment and exhibits, cooking demos, free cookies for the kids, and beautiful animals to see.

I was in the back of the Circus Museum where I learned a few things about circus history. I am already looking forward to next year.
