Honors and Grads

These local students were named to the dean’s list from their college or university for the spring 2019 semester:
— Miranda Thottam of Slingerlands, majoring in doctor of occupational therapy at University of the Sciences in Pennsylvania with a grade-point average of 3.4 or higher;

— Nic Shah of Slingerlands, at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania with a grade-point average of 3.5 or  higher;

— Kenzie Burns of Schenectady, at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher;

— Shannon Howland of Delmar, at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher;

— Ryan Keegan of Schenectady, at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher;

— Ryan M McKlusky of Schenectady, majoring in chemical engineering at Clarkson University with a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher;

— Audrey Christine Mielke of Voorheesville, majoring in psychology at Clarkson University with a grade-point average of 3.25 or  higher; and

— Reed M Watson of Delmar, majoring in mechanical engineering at Clarkson University with a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher.
 

These local students have recently earned diplomas:
— Emma DeFrancesco, of Slingerlands, earned a degree in bachelor of arts degree at College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts; and

— Nicolas Castro of Delmar, earned a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
 

One local student, Leah Clifford of Altamont, was one of more than 60 outstanding State University of New York in Oneonta students selected to receive a 2020 Academic Achievement Award.
