Obituaries Archives The Altamont Enterprise, October 23, 2008 Debra M. McCann WESTERLO Debra M. McCann, a cleaner who liked drawing, gardening and snowmobiling, died on Oct. 15, 2008 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. She was 47. “A loving wife and mother, she will be missed by her family and many friends,” her family wrote in a tribute. She was born in Camp Lejeune N.C. on June 10, 1961, the daughter of William and Donna (Walsh) Leggett. She was self-employed, operating Debbie’s Cleaning Service & McDee’s T’s. “An avid outdoors person, she was a member of the Northwind Riders Snowmobile Club and served as treasurer,” her family wrote. “She also loved to draw and garden.” Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Donald McCann; two sons, David and Dillan McCann; a sister, Cindy Rogers and her husband, Allen; two nieces, Daniella and Sierra; and three nephews, Travis, Ryan, and Justin. Funeral services were Oct. 19 at the Cunningham Funeral Home, in Greenville. Interment was Monday at the Westerlo Rural Cemetery in Westerlo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205. |
