Robin Williams Morris

DELMAR — Robin B. Williams Morris, a devoted wife and mother, died on Feb. 18, 2008 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. She was 63.

"She was an avid gardener, and loved to walk and enjoy the outdoors," her family wrote in a tribute. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed sharing her love of cooking with her friends and family, whether through preparing a simple meal for her family or providing dishes for holidays and special occasions."

She was a long time member of the Junior League of Albany and active in her community for much of her life.

She was the daughter of Clifford and Shirley Bowdish, formerly of Delmar. She is survived by her loving husband Ernest E. Morris of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; a brother Christopher Bowdish of Delmar, N.Y.; a sister Katrina Bowdish of Raymond, Maine; her beloved children Rebecca Williams, of Albany; sons Pieter Williams and his wife, Christiane, of Yarmouth Maine, and Matthew Williams and his wife, Stephanie, of South Portland, Maine; two lovely grandchildren, Sophia and Elena Williams of South Portland; a niece Tiffiny (Bowdish) Snyder of Berne; and anephew, Christopher Bowdish of Delmar.

There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association (www.alsa.org).
The family would like to thank the St. Peter’s Regional ALS Center and Albany County Hospice for their compassion and support.

Robert H. Peck Jr.

GREENVILLE — Robert H. Peck Jr., a family man who worked for a trucking company, died unexpectedly at his Greenville home on March 5, 2008. He was 56.

Born in Albany on Oct. 24, 1951, Mr. Peck was the son of Robert H. Peck Sr. and the late Harriet Lounsbury Peck. He worked for Cason Trucking in Duanesburg.

"He was a friend to many and loved his family and fishing with his granddaughters," said his family in a tribute.


Robert H. Peck Jr. is survived by his father, Robert H. Peck Sr.; two sons, Brian Peck and Michael Peck, and his wife, Deanna; three granddaughters, Ashlynn, Kaleigh, and Emily Peck; and four sisters, Deborah Parker, Sharon Timmis, Pam Boehlke, and Susan Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

His mother, Harriet Peck, and a sister, Wanda Ciccone, died recently.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment will be in the Onesquethaw Cemetery at a later date.

Those who desire may make contributions to a Community Hospice of their choice.
