RENSSELAERVILLE — They don’t call them the Hilltowns for nothing.  Bike riders in  this year’s Rensselaerville Ride on Saturday, Sept. 16,  sponsored by the Carey Institute for Global Good, will be reminded of that fact no matter which of the four rides they choose.

With bright fall leaves as a backdrop to the Rensselaerville hamlet, local residents came out Sunday in colorful ways themselves, cheering on the cyclists who passed through on the town’s first Gran Fondo and cycling festival.

The first annual Rensselaerville Cycling Festival, coming up in September, is led by Tyler Wren, who races professionally all over the world.
