Thank you for helping with Kenneth White’s vigil

To the Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our vendors for donating items to the Kenneth White vigil. Thank you Hannaford Supermarket in Guilderland; Stewart’s Shops; Home Depot, Washington Avenue store; Price Chopper, Hamilton Square in Guilderland; Pastor Bob Hoffmann; Pastor Wendy Cook; Albany County Sheriff’s Explorers Post 043; Albany County Sheriff’s office; and all who donated candles.

I could not have pulled this event together without you generosity. Lastly, I thank the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School District for allowing us to use the school for such a huge turnout.

Also, I would like to thank everyone from far and wide for coming out to the vigil. Our community was hit hard with such a tragedy and came together as a community.

We are a small community made up of a large family. Family doesn’t always mean blood related, but rather people coming together to show love and support to a child with a big smile. Our family is made up of parents, teachers, students and strangers.

Thank you everyone again and always leave a light on for Kenneth.
